Networking Opportunities

Family Child Care Providers, do you sometimes crave the opportunity to talk with adults, network with other child care providers, and have more training opportunities? You can do just that by participating in one of a number of associations where you can meet your colleagues in the family child care world and get additional training hours.

Mercer County Child Care Association

Monthly meetings are held in Matherville, IL on the first Monday of the month.  The date is subject to change, however, depending on the availability of a presenter to do training.  There are no membership dues or association fees, but members all take a turn providing pizza and beverages for the meetings.

For more information contact Kim Frakes at (309) 754-8352

Henry/Stark Counties Family Child Care Association

Monthly meetings are held at the Township Hall in Kewanee, IL on the third Monday of the month.  The date is subject to change, however, depending on the availability of a presenter to do training.  Membership is open to all child care providers in Henry, Stark, and Bureau Counties.  Members take turns providing light refreshments.

For more information (including dues) contact Kaylee Anderson at (309) 854-3706.
