Workshop 1-Childhood Obesity-WIU QC Complex Room 2102

This workshop will introduce you to the issue of obesity and how it is affecting children at young  ages, and how you can help. 

Workshop 2-Healthy Eating-WIU Riverfront Hall Room 228

This workshop focuses on preventing childhood obesity through promoting healthy eating in child care.

Workshop 3-Physical Activity-WIU QC Complex Room 2102

This workshop will provide an overview of physical activity for preschool children.

Workshop 4-Families-WIU Riverfront Hall Room 228

This workshop will focus on four main areas to think about when talking with parents and staff about making a healthy home environment: increasing healthy eating at home, increasing physical activity at home, keeping screen time in check, and celebrating healthy.

Trainers: Brianna Skovronski, CCR&R Quality Specialist and Stephanie Witt, Training & Technical Assistance Coordinator

Training hours: 2 hours per session; 8 hours total
