Sensory Integration Activities for the Classroom

Sensory processing influences an individual’s overall perception of the world and provides reality and meaning to our lives.  Our senses help us in integrating into the world around us, into our relationships and play a large role in our behavior. This training will look distinguishing sensory from other issues in the classroom as well as incorporating activities into the classroom.  This is a second half of sensory training.

Gateways to Opportunity Content Areas: A-Human Growth and Development; B-Health, Safety and Well-Being

CDA Content Areas: 2-Physical/Intellectual; 3-Social/Emotional

Prerequisite: All registrants must attend "Sensory Processing for Early Childhood" on October 16 or have attended  "Understanding Sensory Processing" in 2018.
