There is probably no situation more emotionally charged than when one child bites another child in your class or group. Perhaps it will be reassuring to know that there is nothing you can do to insure that a child will never get bitten again. It happens, even in “good” centers. Why do children bite? In this training you will realize that biting is a developmental issue that happens when a toddler begins to feel frustrated, mad, not able to communicate how they are feeling. We will look at some strategies and tips to help the teacher and child during this time.
