The Trauma-Informed Care & the Pyramid Model is a combination of both self-paced online learning and facilitated discussion. This training will help providers understand trauma and its impact on young children. You will explore how to recognize the signs and symptoms of trauma in young children and how to view children’s experiences through a trauma-informed lens. Finally, it will review strategies for introducing protective factors and building resistance. It is designed to help early childhood providers and programs discover how to apply a Trauma-Informed Care lens to their existing practices along with learning and enhancing Pyramid Model practices in their programs.
